Identify the construction
Solid wood, stone, and glass tops behave differently. Note the approximate dimensions, the base style, removable leaves, and whether the top separates from the base.
Protect the route
Clear chairs and rugs before work begins. Protect the floor where parts will be staged and leave room to turn the tabletop without striking walls or fixtures.
Do not improvise with glass
Large glass panels can be heavy and vulnerable at the edges. Tell the removal team about glass before the appointment so they can assess handling and equipment needs.
